A: The website migration service offered by Web Host EZ is entirely free and involves transferring all your website files, databases and emails from your current provider to your brand new hosting account with us. We will also edit all the settings necessary for your websites to be completely functional on our advanced cloud hosting platform.Our techs are fully capable of moving any sort of website. With years of work experience in this field, they’re well–versed in the inner workings of our cloud hosting platform, our Control Panel and all other popular Control Panels. For them, moving a custom web app with plenty of custom libraries is as elementary as transferring a simple WordPress blog.

A: There are many factors to keep in mind – the total amount of files, the size of the database, the complexity of the web site itself and the current workload of our web site migration experts, etc. Yet, we do try to carry out all web site migrations within a 48–hour window. Less sizeable sites are transferred faster – usually within 24 hours.

A: Yeah. We will need the name of the web site that you wish us to transfer. We will also need a way to log in to your old web hosting account so that we can get the files associated with your website.

A: Nah. Your website will continue to be visible online during the transfer. Once everything is completed on our end, we’ll inform you so that you can preview it and check for problems. If everything is OK, all you will have to do is update your domain’s DNS records.

A: No. Apart from your login details for the Control Panel, we won’t need anything. We’ll never touch base with your hosting provider. They will not know anything about the migration either.

A: Yes. We support all common Linux–based web hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–driven web hosting platforms, because we don’t provide Windows web hosting solutions ourselves.In addition, we do not support proprietary web site building and management user interfaces like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
